Born in Montana. Raised in the Pacific Northwest until I turned 16. Then: the family moved to Lahore, Pakistan. [Later on, they relocated to Bangkok, Thailand and I, to Seattle.] Scandinavian Studies/Swedish major at the University of Washington. Worked for United Airlines for 32 years. Traveled the world many times around. Live on a wooded ridge east of Lake Washington and west of the Cascade Mountains.
